Next on the docket is musical guest Justin Timberlake, making his fifth solo appearance on the show. Will we get a live performance of “Better Place”? Probably not, because JT has been teasing that he’s got some new, non-Trolls music on the way. He’ll be joined by host and Madame Web star Dakota Johnson, effectively making the episode a little Social Network reunion. Their characters had a one-night stand with each other in the 2010 movie. We’ll have to see how their host-guest chemistry compares to babygirl-at-large Jacob Elordi and self-declared mother Reneé Rapp. Moving into the new year, we request that Trisha Paytas pull double duty at Lorne Michaels’s earliest convenience.
